  4. Computer/Monitor settings:

  6. Masterpiece Mansion requires at least 4MB free RAM.
  7. Set the monitor control panel to 256 colors.
  8. For best performance turn off virtual memory, appletalk, and quit other applications.

You'll need the QuickTime 2.1 extension and the Sound Manager 3.1 installed in your extensions folder.  If you have a PowerPC Macintosh, you'll also need the QuickTime PowerPlug extension.  Drag any of these extensions you need from the CD-ROM Essentials folder to the extensions folder located within the system folder on your start-up disk.

  12. Masterpiece Mansion¬ requires no other installation on your hard drive.  Just click on the Mansion icon on the CD-ROM to start the game.
